hi, well my advice to you is to head off to North America , where the traditional people in these wild areas can teach you how to tan fish skins using natural tanning methods like the "brain tanning method" also there is the option of using all natural "bark tanning method" these can both be used to succesfully make a leather. if you have access to a library , you can find a book called called "practical leather technology" another good source of information is "rural tanning techniques" as far as tanning a commercial fish leather is concerned it would be very difficult for you to duplicate a commercial leather at home.good luck regards Mermaid Leather IP: Logged |
