I have some questions about shoes with high-quality man-made leather upper.

1) What are the differences between microfiber leather and PU leather? Are they the same or are they totally difference things?

2) Is it true that there is breatheable microfiber/PU leather? How does it compare with real leather?

3) Can someone give me the pros and cons of microfiber/PU leather vs real leather and their costs?

4) Why aren't the bigger brand name shoe companies use more microfiber/PU leather is US? Are slight cost difference and customer taste/perception the reasons?
